Aggborough news
Date: 19-12-05 Shots or Grays?
Shots or Grays?    That's the choice we get in the draw for the next round of the FA Trophy.

Those two teams will be playing again tomorrow night after they drew one apiece at Aldershot on Saturday, the same day that we were sticking four goals past a poor Scarborough side.    For myself I'd like to see Aldershot go through for the simple reason that they are beatable and would bring a few more fans with them than the poorly supported Rushden, sorry, Grays would.    Grays are also a better team than us too, on paper, and must be favourites to win if paired against the Harriers.

The game will be played on January 14th at Aggborough.

In other games Hereford were drawn away at either Halifax or Southport, replay also tomorrow night, and Worcester City have been given a tough task at Crawley Town.    The remainder of the draw is below:

  • Canvey Island v Salisbury City
  • Stalybridge Celtic v Solihull Borough
  • Carshalton Athletic v Accrington Stanley
  • Boreham Wood v Gravesend & Northfleet
  • Tamworth v St Albans City
  • Forest Green Rovers v Dorchester Town
  • Weston Super Mare v Worksop Town
  • Woking v Northwich Victoria
  • Barrow or Clitheroe v Cambridge City
  • Exeter City v Alfreton Town or Histon
  • Dagenham & Redbridge v Kettering Town
  • Blyth Spartans v Welling United
  • Stafford Rangers v Morecambe
