Another new face joined the ranks today when Michael Blackwood joined up with Stuart Watkiss' new look squad at the Harriers.

Formerly of Aston Villa, Chester City, Wrexham, Stevenage, Telford and lastly Lincoln City the left sided wide man has signed on, the now usual, twelve month contract.  Born locally in Birmingham he started his footballing life at Villa Park but failed to make the grade before being transferred to Wrexham via a loan spell at Chester City.  He then went into non league football at Stevenage and Telford but then moved up a scale by joining up with Lincoln City at the start of last season.

He played against us for just ten minutes when he came on as a sub in the 2-1 win against Lincoln in January.

The club is expected to announce more new signings tomorrow, probably Gareth Sheldon from Exeter City.
