Match preview Vs Halifax Town

Date: 20-09-05 Venue: Aggborough Kick off: 09:45hrs
After that disgrace on Saturday against FGR we'll be hoping to see a 100% improvement from the boys in Red.    Even 1% will be an improvement on that fiasco.

We'll be hoping to have Martin O'Connor back from his knee injury to give the midfield a bit of encouragement after they went missing, along with the defence, on a number of occasions on Saturday.    His leadership was sorely missed and Laurie Wilson is no replacement for him, yet.

Chris McHale will still be missing after it was reported in the Non-League Paper on Sunday that his metatarsul injury is not healing as it should be.    It appears that they have found another broken bone in his foot that has not healed correctly and he may need further surgery.

Halifax, who lost 4 - 0 at Gravesend on Saturday and have an abysmal away record, will be without Matt Doughty.    He has received a three match ban for a sending off against Tamworth two weeks ago.

This is a game that, on paper, we should win but we said the same about FGR didn't we!
