Match preview Vs Morecambe

Date: 11-03-06 Venue: Christie Park Kick off: 15:00hrs
With the return of Andy White to Notts County following the end of his loan it's looking less and less likely that we'll ever score a goal again.    Just two goals since Iyseden Christie scooted off the Rochdale, where he is yet to score, and when we do get a chance of a goal it's spurned by the likes of Lee Thompson when he missed a penalty in last weeks thriller at Forest Green.

The Harriers manager, Mark Yates, says he has tried to bring in a new striker this week and will keep looking but it appears that we'll have to rely on the striking prowess of Thompson, Sheldon and Francis for the time being, including this trip to a steadily dropping Morecambe side.

We should be back at full strength with the return of Terry Fleming following his one match ban but there is still no news about Wayne Graves and his groin injury.    Even if he was fit nobody would know who he was anyway!

Morecambe, who saw their game at home to Hereford called off at short notice last week, will be looking to get back into the play-off places with a win against us but they'll have to do it without Jim Bentley and Ryan Robinson with them both out suspended.    Bentley has a back injury so would probably have missed the game anyway.

On the injury front they'll be without Garry Hunter and Michael Howard who both have long term injuries but are now on their way back to fitness.    They won't be fit enough for this game though.

I'm fully expecting this to be yet another goal less result for us with either a sharing of the points or a narrow win for the Shrimps.    With a strike force of Thompson and most likely Francis I think we'll be going all out for a very defensive draw.
