I would say that after this evenings result that Stuart Watkiss will be feeling very un-comfortable and may well be looking at the Sits Vacs pages of the newspapers tomorrow.
There is no way that he can condone the dreadful fare that was dished up to paying customers tonight and if he intends to get some more pleasing results at Gravesend and Crawley next week then he's going to have to bite the bullet, rip up his copy of 'Play Football The Sunday League Way' and change his bloody tactics because this hoof ball, pass to one of their players, stand around watching and generally look dis-interested IS NOT what we, the paying and long suffering customer wants to see.
Anymore of that rubbish that we saw tonight and we'll soon be hitting the sub 1000 attendance figures.
The line-up tonight was basically a repeat of the one that didn't triumph against FGR with the exception of O'Connor for Wilson. Again O'Connor failed to make it past half time but in his time on the pitch he failed to raise any kind of spark in his lethargic team mates.
Halifax were just as bad as us but at least they did manage to pass the ball to each other and that's just how they scored the only, winning, goal of the game.
One of theirs - don't ask me who - took the ball to the edge of the area, we backed off, and off and off while he passed it across the face of the goal for Killeen to pop up and drill the ball home.
We never had a single shot on goal throughout the first half.
