After originally coming here on loan from Hereford last season he found his stay cut short by an injury that saw the end of the season come sooner than he had envisaged. After just a few minutes in his debut game for us at St Albans he picked up a stomach injury and we never saw him again.
In that short time he must have impressed Mark Yates enough to warrant getting a second chance to play for us. He also impressed the Harriers fans that had travelled south that day and they spoke enthusiastically about his skills.
While with Hereford he found himself in the referees book after a bad tackle left Terry Fleming sprawling across the Hereford mud heap. The red card that day was a just bonus after we also sneaked a win through a Michael Blackwood goal.
The arrival of Ferrell should add a bit more bite to our midfield. A midfield that gave up too easily, too often last season.
