Match preview Vs Exeter City

Date: 18-11-06 Venue: St James Park Kick off: 15:00hrs
Bo Henriksen The Harriers resume the quest for League points when they visit their former Football League comrades, Exeter City, tomorrow.    A visit to St James Park is always a game worth looking forward to if only for a chance to repeat that famous victory back in February 2005 when we beat the host 5-2 with a hat-trick from the legend Bo Henriksen.

Bo was a guest at Aggborough recently and hasn't changed much.    Still very laid back and still smoking the fags!

Simon Russell will be making his way back for us after recovering from the virus that forced him to miss out on the excitement of our FA Cup defeat at Morecambe.    Reuben Reid will be back after missing the same game at the request of his club, Plymouth.

We are now without Craig Nelthorpe after his loan spell finished here and he has now gone back to his club, Doncaster Rovers.    This is in addition to Paul Bignot being recalled by Crewe just prior to their FA Cup game last week.

The Harriers manager, Mark Yates, is now on the look out for two new signings in time for the Exeter game.    He is also starting to make progress in getting Iyseden Christie on loan until the end of the season and possibly a permanent deal.

Christie has netted seven goals in fifteen games since returning to Harriers on a three-month loan from Rochdale.    This is due to expire at Christmas.

"If I'm honest I would rather it was a permanent deal rather than a loan deal because then I know where I stand," said Christie.

Exeter also exited the Cup last week when they lost at home to Stockport, 2-1.    The City manager Paul Tisdale blamed bad defending for the defeat so that can only be good news for us.

Striker Jamie Mackie ended the game with a hip injury last Saturday but is expected to be fit to play.

Yet again it's going to be another hard game for both sides and I fancy us to come back with a point.
