Match preview Vs Stevenage Borough

Date: 03-04-07 Venue: Broadhall Way Kick off: 19:45hrs
In a rehearsal for the FA Trophy Final on May 12th the Harriers travel to their opponents at Wembley, Stevenage Borough, tomorrow evening for a game that could propel either side back to the play-offs if they win.  The problem is that both sides seem to be suffering a bit of Wembleyitis ever since we won our respective Semi-finals and could both do with the points.

Since we put paid to the dreams of Northwich we have drawn three games and lost the last one, ironically against Northwich last Saturday.  Stevenage, after seeing off Grays in their cup games, have won just the once in four games but that was a very good win at York City.

On Saturday they lost at Crawley Town by three goals to nil and saw the midfield player Adam Miller sent off for two yellows compounded by violent conduct.  He'll be missing tomorrow along with James Constable for us after he was dismissed for V.C. at St Albans.

Also missing for the home team will be Jamie Slabber after he picked up an ankle injury during the semi-final win over Grays.

We have just the one known injury and that's to Andy Ferrell.  He's gone back to Hereford for treatment to a hamstring injury and it's not known when he will be back for us.

After last Saturdays disturbing defeat, when we looked lethargic and jaded, we need to get back some of our previous form in time for the trip to the smoke.  Tomorrow would be ideal if we were to get a win, or at a minimum, a draw at Stevenage.

It's a tough ask but it can't be beyond us.  Think Oxford.
