To fill the gap created by his departure the club have bought in James Constable on a two month long loan from Walsall and he will step straight into his boots tomorrow. Also making his home debut will be Rob Davies, from WBA, who signed on yet another loan deal last week.
He had a good game at Exeter and it was his perfectly crafted cross that enabled Russ Penn to score the opening goal of the game after just two minutes.
Missing for us tomorrow will be Jake Sedgemore who has picked up a knee injury but Iyseden Christie appears to have overcome a foot injury that he picked up at Exeter. Dean Sturridge will not play, of course, and the club have released news that he may never play for us again due to the lack of progress in his Achilles injury.
Stevenage hadn't signed any new players before yesterdays transfer deadline and there is also no real injury news either. There was a former Harrier playing for them up until a few weeks ago but Darryn Stamp has now been loaned out to York City.
They are also having a poorer than expected season, like ourselves, and have struggled to put decent back to back results together. They sit one point above us in the table but with a prevailing wind I think we should be able to climb above them come tea-time tomorrow.
