With the rain continuing to pour down from above the Harriers have had yet another game called off due to the awful weather. Bewdley twice and now the much anticipated game against FC United of Manchester has become a victim of the rain.
With the area already saturated through weeks of rain the ground has not had a chance to drain out and so any water that falls now will just sit on top in large puddles. Already last night torrential rain and thunderstorms covered the Wyre Forest area and today we have had many roads closed in the area due to flooding.
With Cheltenham due to visit on Tuesday that too could be in doubt if the weather does not let up and games twice a week until the start of the season means that we will then be in a situation of a lack of match fitness before the season starts on August 11th.
UPDATE
This game has now been re-arranged for next Sunday, July 29th. To make this possible AFC Telford have agreed to move our game at the New Bucks Head back to the previous evening, July 27th.
