Harriers on Trophy trail again Guise'
|
The Harriers hit the road for another bite at Trophy fame with a nice long trip to Guiseley AFC in the first round of the competition that we finished as runners up last season. Enough said about that!
Guiseley, who play in the Unibond Northern Premier League, beat the Auld enemy Worcester City on Saturday with a 1-0 scoreline to send them crashing out of the Trophy. Guiseley is situated in NW Leeds on the Leeds/Bradford Road.
Until Friday they were managed by the former York City manager Terry Dolan but he left the club on the eve of the Wusster game and is expected to take on the job of Farsley Celtic manager. Farsley are another Leeds based club.
The game will be played on February 15th December and any replay will be on the following Tuesday, the 18th.
The remainder of the draw is below and includes other tasty games such as Exeter City v Salisbury City, Cambridge United v Kings Lynn, Cambridge City v Kettering Town and Oxford United v Tonbridge Angels.

In other Harriers news the club will definitely be appealing against James Constables sending off against Oxford on Saturday. The match video was looked at by the club this morning and shows clearly that Constable was pushed from behind and he never raised an elbow against James Clarke.
