After our un-beaten run came to an end at Weymouth we'll now be looking for another run starting tomorrow. OK it's only a two game run but at least it's better than losing.
That's something that Burton will hope we'll be doing because they need just one more point to guarantee a play-off place. Their final game is at home to another team with play-off hopes - Exeter City - this Saturday so they'll want to make sure before then.
They beat another hopeful last Friday when they knocked three goals past a disappointing Stevenage but the cost came with injuries to two of their most influential players. Darryl Clare and Keith Gilroy are both doubtful tomorrow after Clare ended the game with a strain and Gilroy, only just back from injury, aggravated the ankle injury that had kept him out of previous games.
We will definitely be without Jeff Kenna after he finally moved into management with Galway Utd today. See news item here. His place in the side will now be taken by Paul Bignot.
We have no other injuries although both Dean Bennett and Chris MacKenzie took slight knocks at Weymouth they should both be able to play.
It may be the end of the season for us but we can't be letting other teams put one over on us. We still have pride to play for and the players still have contracts to complete and new ones to play for.
