Match preview Vs Dagenham    (FA Cup 2nd rd)

Date: 01-12-07 Venue: Glyn Hopkin Stadium Kick off: 15:00hrs
The Harriers have taken their concern about James Constable's sending off against Oxford last week a step further but it looks as if any positive decision from the FA will come too late to let him play against Dagenham in tomorrows FA Cup game.  He was falsely sent off when Utd's James Clarke crashed into his back and then fell to the floor, rolling around like a good 'un.

The video evidence shows clearly that Constable did nothing wrong but the FA will not want to see any doubt cast on a referee's integrity so the best we can hope for is to get the three match ban reduced to one game and that would mean him missing a game seven days after the incident.  That the game tomorrow then!.

It will mean that either Iyseden Christie or Matt Barnes-Homer will partner Justin Richards up front and we could go with the 4-5-1 formation that worked so well at Burton recently and with Dean Bennett available again that could happen.

Also back in contention for us is Jeff Kenna.  He played in a reserve game against Tamworth at Aggborough during the week and came through unscathed so expect him to be on the bench at the very least.

Simon Russell also got in 45 minutes to increase his fitness after playing his first game in ages last week.  Goals came from Michael McGrath, Jon Munday, Neil Howarth, Christie and Barnes Homer in the 5-0 win.

Dagenham are quite well known to us, unlike Ware who we met in the last round.  They got promoted to the Football League for the first time last season after taking the Conference by storm.

They don't seem to be taking League Two by storm but they're holding their own and should survive there.  They still have hot shot Paul Benson playing for them but he seems to have misplaced his scoring boots this season with only five goals to his credit.  As long as he doesn't score another one against us like his stunning goal in their 4-1 win at Aggborough last season.

Daggers could be without Soloman Taiwo and Dave Rainford after they were both sent off in games last week but it's not known what injuries they have.  Another website with a wall of silence.

This is going to be a tough game tomorrow but with our good away form - backed by fantastic support - and Dagenham's poor home form then this is one we can sneak or at the minimum come away with a replay.
