Match preview Vs Forest Green Rovers

Date: 26-12-07 Venue: The New Lawn Kick off: 15:00hrs
The Harriers go into the first of the festive League games with a visit to Forest Green Rovers.  We'll be looking for our first ever League win there although we did win a Bob Lord Trophy game there back in 1998.

Justin Richards We'll be without Stuart Whitehead after his second sending off of the season last Saturday at Hinckley.  The much maligned Setanta Trophy has cost us dear but it can be argued that Whitehead was equally to blame.

Apart from the Captain we have no injury problems and should be at full strength.  Expect a bit of juggling with Andy Ferrell, Jon Munday and Gavin Hurren to fill in for Whitehead.  Justin Richards should get a re-call to partner James Constable in place of Iyseden Christie after he stayed on the bench on Saturday.

We'll be up against the threat of FGR's leading scorer, and also the countries leading scorer, in Stuart Fleetwood and we'll have to be on our toes to stop him adding to his tally of twenty five goals so far this season.

Forest Green just have the one injury worry with Jamie Pitman but he is almost ready for his comeback from a hamstring injury and could be picked to face the Reds.

This is going to be a tough game - as they all are at FGR - but we could be good enough to come away with a draw.  If we can only stop Fleetwood from scoring.
