Match preview Vs Stevenage Borough

Date: 13-03-08 Venue: Broadhall Way Kick off: 19:45hrs
The Harriers fans travelling to Stevenage for this televised game tomorrow evening could be facing a wasted journey after torrential rain and high winds have been targeting the Home Counties for the past few days.  We have been relatively unscathed although we did lose a 'reserve' game against Redditch on Monday night due to a waterlogged pitch.  The same fate be-fell Stevenage when they too had a reserve game cancelled for the same reason.

With the storms now moving North it's cross fingers time if the game will be played.  We'll still need a preview though.

The Harriers seem to have come good in the past two games with wins against Stafford and Grays.  These have come about because of the long overdue change in formation and tactics of playing three up front.  Wether this will continue for away games is anyone's guess but I think we'll revert to a lone striker, Christie, for this particular game.

Our only injury problems are to Andy Ferrell and Gavin Hurren with Fez the one to definitely miss out with an ankle injury.

Stevenage are going through a strange run of games in recent weeks with an in-consistency coming to the fore.  It doesn't really seem to matter because they're still well placed for the play-offs and could jump to second place if they beat us tomorrow night.

They lost out by the single goal in a poor game at Weymouth on Saturday.

Boro have a few injury problems with Ronnie Henry, Luke Oliver, Tess Bramble and Callum Willock all out injured, long term or otherwise.  Of those only Lenny Henry could feature.

This is a game that we'll be looking to do well in but it'll depend on if we go all out attack and get caught out on the counter attack.  Or if we can keep it tight at the back and catch Stevenage out instead.
