They got their comeuppance and have now vowed never to do that again. And another one goes flying over!
Ironically we did the same thing at Wembley and look what happened there. Tomorrow see's us stepping out on the Wembley trail for the visit to Weymouth after overcoming Guiseley in the last round. On that night a winning last minute goal from Jonny Harkness saw us progress but we can't rely on him this time because he's now joined up with Jon Munday on loan at Worcester for a month.
Mark Yates tried to get a defender in on loan yesterday - thought to be Neil Ashton from Shrewsbury - but was un-successful. It's not really a defender that we need though, is it? we're crying out for a midfield general but that fact seems to pass Yates by or does he think that Dean Bennett is the answer?
We'll also need someone in soon to bolster our quickly thinning squad. As can be seen below we're outnumbered by the size of the Weymouth squad, who, even with a fair number of injuries can muster a team together. Something we couldn't do at York last week when the Assistant Manager Neil Howarth had to sit on the bench.
Weymouth will have Nick Crittenden and Simon Weatherstone out through injury but will be on a high after disposing of the 'unbeatable' Oxford Utd on Tuesday evening. We'll have to be alert to them now that they think they'll be unbeatable too.
One goal will be enough!
