We have a big doubt over the availability of full back Lee Baker after he picked up a knee injury against Burscough on Tuesday. He's having treatment for it but, just in case he doesn't make it, Andy Ferrell could drop back to cover now that Mark Creighton is back from his one game ban.
There has also been a flu bug going around Aggborough this week with Dean Bennett and Dean Coleman both being too ill to play in the Burscough game. Chris Beardsley has been struck down too but he wouldn't have played anyway because Kettering wouldn't want him cup tied for the FA Trophy.
Matt Barnes-Homer and Brian Smikle were also affected but they will be fit to play. No doubt there will be other casualties before the night's out.
Crawley have also been having flu problems but there's is a bit more advanced than ours with players now coming back after being lain low. Chris Giles, Jamie Cook, Lewis Killeen, Michael Malcolm and Jamie Stevens all came back from the bug to play in their Trophy win at Chesham Utd.
They will be without Jamie Stevens, Isaiah Rankin and Jamie Cook through real injuries though.
All we need now is the referee to ignore the foot wide strip of frost at one end and we could come back with another 4-0 win like last season.
