Match preview Vs Curzon Ashton    FA Cup 2nd rd

Date: 29-11-08gif Venue: Aggboroughgif Kick off: 15:00hrs
The lowest-ranked side left in the FA Cup take on the mighty Kidderminster Harriers tomorrow in the 2nd round of this years FA Cup.  Curzon Ashton, who put paid to the progress of League Two side Exeter City in the last round, will arrive at Aggborough full of hope that they can repeat their phenomenal win at home to the Devon side against us but they might find the Harriers a different kettle of fish.

We'll now be wise to their capabilities and will have worked out a plan to win this at the first attempt.  That plan is the same as it has been for most of the season and that's to play fast and furious football using the crossing ability of Martin Brittain and get some great crosses over.

It's just a shame that Justin Richards won't be there to take advantage due to the eye injury he received against Wrexham last Saturday.  We have now bought in Chris Beardsley to help the front men after they failed miserably at Oxford on Tuesday evening but the problem will be that Beardo can't play anyway due to being cup tied at Kettering.

It will mean that a combination of Matt Barnes-Homer, Darryl Knights and Stefan Moore will continue up front for us against the giant killers.

Justin is the only injury for us and the fifth yellow card that Andy Ferrell picked up at Oxford will not come into force until next Saturday when we are at home to Salisbury City.

Curzon are a total unknown to us and so are most of their players.  The only one most of us have heard anything about is James Agoo after he was splashed across the national press prior to the Exeter game.  He was said to have once played against the former AC Milan striker George Weah in an International game between Agoo's Gambia and Weah's Liberia.

We'll be taking this game seriously because at stake is the chance of a windfall game against a bigger club.  Sod's law that it'll be a dumb draw against an under performing League Two side.
