He's now been passed fit to train again and has been doing that yesterday and today.
It's almost certain that he'll step straight back into the team and re-new his partnership with Matt Barnes-Homer. It's certainly needed with us looking bereft of scoring ideas in front of goal in the two games that Justin missed out on.
We will be without Andy Ferrell for this game following his fifth booking of the season at Oxford Utd just over a week ago and to cope with that Mark Yates will need to shuffle the midfield around a bit. That could mean a recall for Luke Jones or use a more attacking option by bringing in either Dean Bennett or David McDermott in for a starting place.
There is also the problem of what to do with Chris Beardsley after he joined us on loan last Friday but couldn't play against Curzon because he was cup tied. He should also have played in the Worcester Senior Cup game at Stourbridge on Tuesday but that was called off because of a frozen pitch. He could now find himself back at Aggborough without a chance of getting into the team.
It seems to be the norm this season for even the best run clubs to find themselves in unwanted financial trouble and Salisbury are one such team. In their first season at the top level last term they looked a strong bet to improve on the good start they made last season before finally finishing in mid table one place above us.
This season they started in a similar fashion winning six games in the first ten but then suddenly going on a losing run to earn just one win in the following ten. They have recovered slightly by drawing the last two games but that has also coincided with losing the core of the squad as money problems bite.
Seven players have left the club with the most surprising being Matt Tubbs. This Ray Mac legend had failed to get on the score sheet as much as last season and it was thought best if he tried his luck elsewhere and also release funds. He didn't travel too far and has now joined League Two strugglers Bournemouth.
Former Harrier, goalkeeper Ryan Clarke (above), has now joined Northwich Victoria on loan until January 1st and that will then be made permanent afterwards. Liam Feeney - who caught the eye when they beat us at Aggborough last season - has joined Southend Utd on loan and moving to Wiltshire is Charles Ademeno.
With Justin back this will be an ideal game to continue our assault on promotion and I can't really see Salisbury repeating their win of last season.
In other news the New Years Day game at Forest Green has now been cancelled due to our FA Cup 4th round game at Coventry City two days later. Forest Green will also be in FA Cup action at home to Derby County and so this move will suit them too.
