Lee Vaughan The Harriers manager, Steve Burr, today completed his second new player signing in as many days when the defender, Lee Vaughan (right), signed for us on a two year contract from Blue Square North side AFC Telford.  Yesterday we re-signed goalkeeper Danny Lewis from another BSN side, Redditch Utd, this time on a one year contract.

Fiery dynamo Vaughan was with Telford for four seasons after joining them from Willenhall after previously being with Portsmouth and Walsall and was Telford's player of the year in 2006-07.  The twenty three year old is also a member of the England C side and will surely increase his chances of further caps now that he has made a move up into the top level of non League football.

With the signing of Danny Lewis yesterday we welcomed back a player that left us four years ago soon after our relegation to the Conference.  Jan Molby signed the highly rated youngster from Studley as the second string keeper to John Danby but he didn't make his debut for us until the final game of the season at Northampton on the day we said our farewells to the Football League.

He made nineteen appearances in the following season but, along with Danby, he was released by Mark Yates at the end of the season and joined Moor Green for a season before teaming up with Redditch.  He stayed with them for three seasons before returning to Aggborough in place of the exiting Dean Coleman and Jasbir Singh.

In other news from the club today the Burton friendly on July 31st was confirmed and another one added with Crewe Alexandra coming here on the following Monday, August 2nd.
