Tom Shaw Steve Burr made his second signing of the week today when he bought in midfielder Tom Shaw from Tamworth.  The twenty three year old was out of contract at the Lamb and was soon snapped up by Burr who knew him from his time with the England C team.

Tom started his career with his hometown club, Nottm Forest, but failed to make the grade and was released to join up with Rushden & Diamonds in June 2006.  He went on to make almost sixty appearances for them scoring four times.  He was sent out on loan to Nuneaton during his time at Nene Park and spent four months there from January 1007 until the end of that season.

From there he went to Mansfield Town and spent a year there but only managed to make three appearances for the Field Mill side before leaving for Tamworth in July last year.  He played thirty eight times for them and starred in their 2-1 win over us on August Bank Holiday Monday last year.

Tom has signed a one year contract with the Harriers.
