The club signed what could be the first choice strike partner for Matthew Barnes-Homer today when Aaron Farrell signed up for a one year contract.  It's looking doubtful that a striker from a higher division, or with a greater pedigree, will be coming in so we may have to do with the youngster who has been plying his trade around Worcestershire and the West Midlands for the past four years.

He was originally with us as a Youth Team player until 2004 but our ways parted and he has since played for Evesham, Halesowen, Rushall Olympic and Sutton Coldfield.  It was at Sutton last season that he bagged sixteen goals in thirty two games.

Aaron has been on trial with us this pre-season and his goalscoring abilities are still to the fore with five goals in five friendly games.
