Duane Courtney The Harriers right sided fullback, Duane Courtney, left the club as expected today but not to Plymouth Argyle but to a club somewhat lower down the pecking order in York City.  Duane had been watched by Argyle for some time but it's thought that the general decline in the side since the Stevenage game had put off any suitors.

Courtney joined the club at the start of last season from the Welsh club, TNS.  He had formerly been at Telford and Burnley where he had been coached by the former Harriers manager Mark Yates.  He joined us with a very high reputation and overall he came up to those expectations.

He's joined City on a one year contract and will probably be hoping to do better than the last two exports there.  Andy Ferrell left them in the New Year for Gateshead and Simon Russell could never hold down a regular first team place there and was sent out on loan quite often.  Russell joined Cambridge Utd two weeks ago,
