Date: 30-07-2009 gif Forest youngster is latest addition
Tom Sharpe Tom Sharpe - not the author - became the newest addition to the Harriers new look line-up today when he signed a contract with the club.    The exact length of the contract is not yet known but it's likely to be for just one year.

He left Nottm Forest last season after progressing through their Youth programme but never made the first team.  He did make the reserve team though and did well there but not well enough to be kept on.

He has been on trial here and has played in all the friendlies since the Swifts games and will probably be used as a backup in case of injury or loss of form to the likes of Martin Riley and Duane Courtney.

Other news sees the long drawn out saga of Sam Foley and Newport County finally resolved with Sam joining them after, sadly, never making the breakthrough at Aggborough.

I hope a lesson in how not to keep your 'ones for the future' happy has been learnt by Mark Yates.
