Martin Riley will be back in for us following his one game suspension for the sending off against Altrincham last Saturday. A game we still ended up winning 3-0 despite both sides going down to ten men.
We have injury doubts with Gavin Caines. He's missed training since the Tamworth game after complaining of a sore groin but he's responding well to treatment and should play. That's unless Mark Yates decides to try out a Martin Riley/Tom Sharpe duo in the middle.
Robbie Matthews has also had groin trouble and has missed the last three games. By all accounts he is now over that and he should be back in the squad for the game. Aaron Farrell is also on his way back and he played a small part in the Tamworth defeat when he came on near the end of the game.
Mid-table Eastbourne will be without their number one keeper Danny Knowles following his sending off against Ebbsfleet on Monday. Michael Jordan will take his place in between the posts.
They could also be without Neil Jenkins (hamstring), Paul Armstrong (hip), Matt Smart (ankle) and Marc Pullan (thigh).
It goes without saying that we have to win this game and put the memories of Tamworth behind us. Three points would be a fine way of doing just that.
