The Harriers got probably the toughest draw that anyone could inflict on us when, in todays draw for the 1st round of the FA Trophy, we were paired with Wrexham at their place. The game will take place on December 11th and any replay would be on the following Tuesday.
Overall we have a good record against our friends from over the border and in recent years we have only lost the one game in seven encounters. The game will be made even more interesting if
Marc Williams plays against us so soon after returning there today. He departed Aggborough with a match winning goal against Eastbourne and we'll be hoping that he doesn't 'return' the favour now he's back home.
Two other former Harriers favourites also play for Wrexham.
Mark Creighton went there a couple of weeks ago on loan from Oxford and is expected to sign for them in January and, going back a bit further,
Dean Keates (left) is also there buzzing around in midfield as he once did for us.
Last season we reached the semi finals of this competition before embarrassingly crashing out over two legs to Stevenage. This season it would be good to go one stage further but what a tough way of starting out to achieve that.
