In a response to the news that Kidderminster Harriers FC are in deep financial trouble, after having just recently been forced into a boardroom takeover and a last minute tax payment, the Harriers supporters trust, KHIST, have today launched a major new fundraiser with the KHIST 2020 Lottery.

For £1 per entry you can win a first prize of 15% of the takings, a second prize of 10% and third prize of 5%.  If all of the current 350 members of KHIST were to enter and pay £10 pm then that would equate to a first prize of over £500 and almost £2,500 raised for the club themselves.

Following the recent developments at Kidderminster Harriers Football Club the Trust board have been looking at ways of bringing in regular funds to invest in the future of KHFC.  We hold many fundraising activities during the year but given the current situation it was felt that we should step up our efforts and look to contribute even more in these hard financial times.

We therefore are pleased to announce details of a monthly lottery with substantial cash prizes for winners with all funds raised going towards helping KHIST secure the future of KHFC and enjoy at least another successful ten years, hence the name '2020 club'.

The KHIST board will exchange monies for shares in KHFC where possible and agree with the Club what the money is used for and the terms on which it is passed across.  With your help KHIST can raise funds to help Kidderminster Harriers flourish, and to increase supporter influence in the club.  It is hoped that our members will take out a standing order to take part in the monthly lottery and encourage others to do so as the lottery is open to everyone.

How do I join?

Simple.  Choose how much you wish to contribute every month, payable by Standing Order.

Upon payment each member will receive a personal number for each £1 contributed that will be entered into the monthly draw.  The same number(s) will be entered each month upon payment.

Once completed, either pop the form into the KHFC Ticket Office or post to:-
KHIST, 10 Hopton Drive, Kidderminster, DY10 1YP.

How much do I pay?

Each member can contribute as much as they wish per month.  Each chance in the lottery costs £1 but it is hoped our members will contribute a minimum of £10 per month.

How much can I win?

There will be a first prize of 15% of the takings, a second prize of 10% and third prize of 5%.

If all 350 KHIST members took part contributing £10 per month the first prize would be £525, a second prize of £350, third prize of £175 and £2450 would be raised each month for KHIST to invest in our club.

The draw will be made on the 10th of each month at 8pm in the Harriers Arms.

How will winners be notified?

All winners will be notified by KHIST and their names will be published in the newsletter and on the KHIST website.
