Match preview Vs Altrincham

Date: 11-02-11gif Venue: Aggboroughgif Kick off: 15:00hrs
Following a hectic week for many Harriers fans in trying to drum up support, and money, for the club in its hour of need it's now time to see part two of the campaign come to fruition with OPERATION: FULL HOUSE now in full swing.

Sean Canham In the early part of the week the fans and the board have raised over £15.000 to pay off the immediate creditors.  Barry Norgrove and Neil Savery have also kindly helped out too by paying the players and staff wages but now it needs another push to get more fans through the turnstiles and swell the crowd for the visit of struggling Altrincham.

Get your friends that haven't been to a game lately to come.

Search out those fans, all 25,000 of them, that went to the FA Trophy Final against Stevenage.

Tell your Premiership supporting acquaintances to get out of their armchairs and get themselves to Aggborough so they can actually experience live football for the first time in ages.

Or failing all that then just get yourself up there and support the team in their efforts to keep professional football in the Wyre Forest area.  You'll see a cracking game, hopefully, and your grandchildren will thank you too.

With a full week off we should be almost at full strength for the game with just Lee Morris out with a groin injury and Dave Hankin with a calf injury.  Matty Blair might be ok to play after a last minute check to his hip injury.

We can now also include former target Sean Canham (right) in the squad after he signed on a months loan from Hereford Utd.  He could well be standing in for the missing Lee Morris.

The hard earned win against Bath City last Saturday gave us a welcome three points in our quest for the play-offs and now that the immediate threat of a ten point deduction seems to have passed we now have another good reason to gain three more points at Altrinchams expense.

Alty have slightly improved of late but they still look to be in trouble near to the bottom of the table with just six wins so far this season.  At least that's an improvement on their first batch of games when they only picked up one point from a possible twenty seven.

They have no injury worries either and have just bought back former defender Greg Young back from York City on an emergency loan.  I don't quite know what that means because Altrincham seem to have a bigger squad than us.
