Match preview Vs Fleetwood Town

Date: 21-09-10gif Venue: Highbury Stadiumgif Kick off: 19:45hrs
The Harriers will be travelling to Fleetwood tomorrow with every intention of improving on their four game unbeaten run but it won't be easy.  We last tasted defeat at Newport County and since then we've won twice and drawn twice and moved out of the bottom two places in the League although the draw against Cambridge on Saturday did see us drop down to 13th place.

Although it's Fleetwood Towns first ever season in non-leagues top flight the Harriers have played them twice before.  Both games came in October last term in the FA Cup when we played out a goal less draw at Aggborough and then three days later travelled up to their place for a 3-1 hiding that saw Lee Baker, now with Newport County, needlessly sent of in the 16th minute.

Fleetwood went on to win with two goals from Gareth Seddon and one from Nathan Pond.  Both players are still with them unlike Gavin Caines who scored our consolation goal.  Fleetwood went on to play at Northampton Town in the next round but failed to progress any further.

It's now our chance to get our own back and at least we should go there with an almost full strength side with the exception of John Finnigan.  He's still out long term with no real sign of when he'll be coming back.

Town will be missing Danny Hurst after he dislocated his shoulder at Crawley two weeks ago and will miss the remainder of the season.  They have no other injuries to speak of and will be wanting to build on their deserved win at Grimsby on Saturday.

Seddon and Pond again scored for them in that game and they appear to be a formidable partnership without even taking account of the goalscoring record this season of Magno Viera.  He's banged in eight goals so far this season and won the Blue Square player of the month award for August.

This is going to be a very tough encounter for the Harriers but as long as it doesn't end up the same way as last time we met I'll be happy.
