The Harriers made their first signing of the summer today when Cheyenne Dunkley signed for the club from Hednesford Town.  Having just missed out on the play-offs from the Evo-Stik Premier for the third year running Cheyenne and his club agreed to part company and allowed him to sign for us.

The 20yr old started his career with Crewe Alexandra but, having never made the breakthrough into the big time there, he joined the Pitmen three times on loan over a three year period and finally signed for them in January 2010.  He went on to make three figures in appearances at Keys Park.

The big central defender is also able to play in all the defensive positions when called on and he'll be a very useful addition to the side and the fans will be hoping he'll also stop up our leaky defence that has never held much water since Tom Sharpe got injured at Stockport.

Other Harriers news this week has seen the offer of new contracts to James Vincent and Mike Williams with both being accepted.  This now brings our squad up to, an unseen before, sixteen.  And we're only one day into June???
