Harriers Online. The wonderful world of Kidderminster Harriers

Date: 13-07-2011 gif Harriers have something in Storer
Kyle Storer Kidderminster Harriers finally got their man today when Steve Burr signed the highly rated Kyle Storer for an un-disclosed fee from Nuneaton Town.  The fiery midfielder, that he had been tracking for quite a while, is now officially a Harriers man even though his previous club mistakenly released the news to their local press last Saturday and so our fans had been waiting in anticipation of some confirmation from the club.

The former Harriers manager, Mark Yates, originally tried to sign Storer from Tamworth three years ago but the Nuneaton born player elected to join Hinckley Utd instead.  As well as playing for Tamworth he first started his footballing career at Leicester City from where he was released to join Bedworth Utd.

He eventually joined his hometown club in April 2009 via Atherstone and ended up playing well over a hundred games for them and scoring twenty two goals with sixteen of those all coming last season.

Kyle does come with something of a reputation of being a firebrand in the same mould as Jack Byrne and Lee Vaughan but sometimes that isn't a bad thing and it's people that play with fire in their belly that the fans love to see.  He should go down well at Aggborough and it'll be interesting to see what we/KHIST get for our money and a two year contract.
