The Harriers reward for the thrilling 5-1 win in the FA Trophy on Saturday is a possible plum home tie against fellow high flyers Luton Town. Possible because they still have to play Hinckley Utd after their cup tie was frozen off on Saturday just before we put paid to Droylsdens hopes of progressing further.
The game will be played Wednesday evening instead and hopefully by ten o'clock that night we should know who we'll be meeting on February 4th. It could still end up being a draw though and we then won't know until the following Tuesday (or Wednesday).
The eventual decision will mean that the scheduled game at home to league leaders Wrexham will now be played on another day with February 21st looking the most likely.
Another game getting moved around today is the, possible six pointer, game at home to second placed Fleetwood Town. This has been moved forward a day from March 10th to the 9th because of the possibility of televisual excitement from Premier Sports. Then again if we do progress beyond the 3rd round of the Trophy then the next stage will be on the 10th March and the Fleetwood game will be postponed completely.
