Harriers 2 WBA XI 3
The Albions Keemar Roofe put away a hat trick at Aggborough tonight when the highly rated youngster, who's about to be offered a pro contract at the Hawthorns, scored twice in the first half and then once more in the second half just minutes after Steve Guinan had drawn us level.
Jamille Matt had opened the scoring for us in the twelfth minute after forcing the Baggies defender Deveron Daniels into a mistake and popping the ball home from close range.
It wasn't his first attempt on goal and neither was it his last. In the first ten minutes he had almost forced one past the keeper and after scoring he still continued to torment the visitors rear guard with a long range drive that the keeper managed to grab hold of.
Kyle Storer also tried to get in on the action but we hadn't reckoned with Roofe. He lashed in two goals in a minute to give the Albion the lead just before half time. The first was an eighteen yard curler that veered around Danny Lewis and the second was from the penalty spot.

Harriers 1st half team:
Lewis, Vaughan, Mike Williams, Sharpe, Jones, Storer, Phelan, Cresswell, Medley, Marc Williams, Matt.
A different team lined up at the start of the second half with just Lee Vaughan and Jack Cresswell keeping their places. Within minutes we had pulled the game back after Steve Guinan managed to get on the rebound from Nick Wrights shot and slotted it into the net from a few feet out.
With just six minutes more of the game played the Baggies whizz kid completed his trio of goals. He got to the ball before Vaughan did and sent another curling ball beyond the reach of a Harriers keeper, this time Dean Lyness.
With very little further action that's how the game ended to continue the Harriers slightly disappointing series of friendly results so far.
