In todays FA Cup
with Budwe (I haven't got time for that crap) draw the Harriers name came out of the goldfish bowl just seconds after Bristol Rovers. Immediately memories went through my head of epic battles with them during the time we were in the League and also the chants from their fans that they would 'never play us again'. How wrong could they be?
All we need to do now is beat Corby Town on Wednesday evening and finish the job that should have been completed yesterday if we had bothered to turn up. That game ended goalless and facts speak for themselves that we only had one shot on target the whole game.
Corby deserved the draw, and the chance of a plum tie in the next round, in the end although some of their players tactics of falling to the floor under the slightest touch and their victimisation of Kyle Storer didn't go down too well with Harriers fans.
League 2 side Rovers are currently 15th in the table at the present time and, to be honest, not doing as well as their fans would hope. The manager down at the Memorial Ground is the former Exeter City and Torquay Utd manager Paul Buckle so overall we are well acquainted with everyone down there.
The game, if it actually happens for us, will be played on the weekend of November 12th/13th.
