It's one of the longer trips for the Harriers tomorrow when they journey North to Darlington.  I think it would be fair to say that the team coach will have plenty of space on it due to our horrendous injury and suspension list.

So here goes this weeks roll call: Danny Lewis (cruciate), Mike Williams (hip), Luke Jones (calf tear), Jack Byrne (gastroenteritis), Dave Hankin (ankle) and Lee Vaughan (three weeks suspension).  Tommy Wright has left the club to allow funding for a back up keeper although originally it was planned that the youth team keeper, Haydn Whitcombe, would come back from loan at Stourport but they too have multiple injuries and it looks like we have decided against his return.

Because of all this both Robert Thompson-Brown and Jack Cresswell have been re-called from loan with RTB making a second half appearance at home to Telford on Tuesday evening.  It was almost at the start of that game that Vaughan saw crimson against his old club and went in two footed on a player that he had no real previous with, Courtney Pitt, seeing that Pitt was with Cambridge up until the start of this season.

Darlington, who got their first win in seven games at Stockport on Tuesday, will be without some players too.  Paul Arnison had a suspected broken ankle in that game while Ian Miller (hernia) and Ben Purkiss (knee) will be out.  Aaron Brown should have recovered from a thigh problem in time for our visit.

The manager, Mark Cooper, signed a former player of his before that game.  Exodus Geogaghan signed for Darlo after being without a club since the end of August.  He'll go straight into the side after making his debut for them the other night.

As always games against Darlington are considered tough and also tough to call.  Given our injury problems, and a slight drop in form in recent weeks, I would love to go one better then last seasons draw up there and hopefully that may happen.
