We'll have to be on our mettle tomorrow night when Grimsby come to call and not fall into the trap of thinking that just because we beat Mansfield soundly on Saturday, and our guests also got soundly thrashed at home by Wrexham, that this game will be anything but a walkover.  Far from it because Grimsby will be wanting to put that defeat into the history books and try to get their season off the ground.

With more defeats than wins they sit just above the relegation places (although it's a bit early for that kind of talk) in seventeenth place but still well clear of the bottom three clubs - Ebbsfleet, Newport and Bath City.  Maximum points at Aggborough tomorrow night could take them up to mid-table but we have to make sure that doesn't happen.

They'll certainly be without Bradley Wood who will be serving a one game suspension and they could be without Darran Kempson (groin) and Jamie Green (hamstring) while Gary Silk and former Harrier Damian Spencer will definitely be missing although what for we'll never know because you have to pay to find these things out with Grimsby.

Following the thriller at Field Mill we should only have a doubt about the fitness of Jamie Vincent.  He picked up a minor injury at Fleetwood last week but could be back for tomorrow nights game.  Steve Guinan will miss the second installment of his three match ban but interestingly the other person involved in Steve's sending off, Jamie McGuire, has also now been given a back dated red card after video evidence proved that he punched Guinan and thought he'd got away with it.  Hooray for justice.

New signing Tommy Wright should be available to play against his old club following his paternity leave on Saturday.  His wife gave birth to a baby girl on Friday night and we wish them all well.

Back to the game and I think we'll be seeing an unchanged line-up from Saturday as a reward for them all doing so well.  Vincent and Tommy Wright should come onto the bench but who gets dropped from there is anyones guess.

I also think we'll nick this.
