The Harriers trip to Grimsby Town tomorrow could go a long way in deciding what this season holds for both sides.  With both of us equal on points in the sixth and seventh places it's just Grimsby's slightly better goal difference (4 goals) that is giving them priority above us.  A win for us could mean a chance to leapfrog them and put us on the same points as either York or Luton depending upon the result of their game tonight.

Our hosts have seen a run of good form stutter slightly in recent games and they've probably drawn too many for their own good.  Saying that at least they've been collecting points while we have been failing to do so abysmally.

Their last trip out was to Tamworth on Tuesday where they recorded another draw to add to the one against the same team just two weeks earlier.  Is that a failing or is it just because it was draw specialists Tamworth?

We should be at full strength for the game with just the two long termers out.  With Danny Lewis now well on the way to being on the mend we now have the good news that Tom Sharpe came through his operation safely on Tuesday and now we just have to wait until at least Christmas this year to see him make his comeback.  That's a hell of a long time to be out of the game and for us fans to wait.

Grimsby are also almost at full strength with their only doubt being Craig Disley.  He reported in ill during training yesterday and it's unlikely he'll play any part in the game.

They have got a few back from injury with the former Cheltenham loanee, Frankie Artus, making the bench on Tuesday while Liam Hearn started the game after returning from his injury.

To sum up we're well into the crunch end of the season now and it's essential that we don't drop any further points, or at least too many, if we want to make that sought after fifth spot in the table.  Three points at Grimsby, and it can be done, will do us no end of good.  Let's do it.
