Luke Medley It seems like an eternity since we were last looking forward to a game but finally, after a short lay-off due to our incompetence at Corby, we're back and a game against Hayes & Yeading Utd to look forward to.  First off for anyone hoping to go to the game that it will be staged at Wokings' Kingfield stadium because Hayes old ground at Church Rd has now vanished and a new venue is being built on Yeadings old ground.

We have had a bit of a change to the ranks since we last played and the ex Aston Villa star Lee Hendrie has arrived to, hopefully, instill some creativity into the midfield.  Out yesterday went Luke Medley (left) on loan to Lincoln City after failing to excite the Harriers crowd and provide the pace and goals upfront that was expected of him when he signed for us from Mansfield five months ago.

We still have a few injuries with Danny Lewis (cruciate), Kyle Storer (cheekbone) and Jack Byrne (gastroenteritis) still out but Mike Williams should be getting back to returning to the side very soon after his hip and back problem.

Hayes, who lie fourth from the bottom of the Blue Square Premier table, will be without on loan keeper Steve Arnold with a fractured foot.  They have bought in Carl Pentney on loan from Colchester Utd as cover for Delroy Preddie.

In the Hayes ranks is a former Harrier with the long lost Dwaine Lee now playing for them after signing in October from Lewes.  Since leaving us in August 2006 he's been on a club crawl of the Home Counties and now he's finally back with half of the club he started his career with.

Although it's been a long layoff for us I'm expecting us to be inspired by Lee Hendrie and to gain a well deserved three points down at Woking.
