The Harriers will be facing a Kettering side in turmoil tomorrow following their embarrassing home defeat to Hayes & Yeading on Tuesday last.  Already being thrashed 5-3, and out of sight, by the Londoners what followed at the end of the game bought shame on their club and loyal fans.

Moses Ashikodi had just taken a last minute penalty with the game at 4-2 but fired it straight at the Hayes keeper who pushed it away for a corner.  The resulting goal from that corner was put home by JP Marna but when the team went back to the centre circle to await the restart both players started to fight each other.  The referee immediately dismissed both players from the field.

Since then it appears that Marna shoved Ashikodi but his response was to just say something to Marna but not fight or push back.  Kettering have tried to get his red card overturned but the FA have said it still stands and both players have been placed on the transfer list with Darlington rumoured to be taking Ashikodi on loan until the New Year.

Also added onto that transfer list today by new manager Mark Stimson were David Bridges, Jerell Ifil, Sol Davis, Phil Ifil, Leon McKenzie, Steven Meechan, Jaime Navarro, Patrick Noubissié and Djoumin Sangare.  That Noubissié looked useful when we played them last season.

Apart from the two that got sent off they could be without former waste of space Aman Verma.  He came back from injury last week but didn't complete the game due to the injury flaring up again so I can't really see him playing against us.

We also have a couple of players out due to red cards.  Steve Guinan will be completing his trio of missed games at 5 o'clock on Saturday while Kyle Storer will be missing his first game of the season after getting sent off late on against Grimsby on Tuesday.  It was his dismissal from the game that went towards Grimsby grabbing their last minute equaliser.

We have three injury doubts with James Vincent and Dave Hankin both out injured although Vincent could be passed fit to make the bench and today it was mentioned on the official site that Mike Williams could miss the game too after picking up an injury in training yesterday morning.

With Kettering going through such a bad patch and them not really playing at home anymore I think we could be looking at another win on the road for the Harriers.  Now that would be good.  In fact that would be great.
