The Harriers could have a few injury worries following the massive 6-2 win over Evesham in the WSC on Wednesday evening.  Anthony Malbon hobbled off just before halftime following a double clattering from the side from the Southern end of the county and could well be a doubt for the game against Lincoln City tomorrow.

Marc Williams Callum Gittings and Lee Vaughan picked up minor knocks in the game but Vaughan should pull through ok.  Mickey Demetriou has also mentioned on his Twitter page that his feet are killing him so he too might not be available.

One player we will be without though is Marc Williams (left).  He was released from his contract yesterday after failing to pin down a first team spot in front of players that have come in from teams far lower down the pyramid.

One of those, Marvin Johnson, scored three times on his debut against Evesham and also looked far quicker and sharper than Williams has done all season for us.  It's a mystery why Marc has not shown the potential this season as he did when he arrived on loan here from Wrexham last season.  It'll be interesting to see where Marc ends up next but I'm expecting either Southport or Telford.

Two other players left this week.  One I think most of us would like to have kept a bit longer and the other most couldn't wait to see the back of.

James McQuilkin left after his loan from Hereford wasn't extended even though Steve Burr has gone on record saying that he would have liked to keep the nippy midfielder a bit longer.  The one that no-one wants was Luke Medley.  He came here from Mansfield with high hopes but totally failed to inspire the Aggborough faithful and also his two loan clubs since then, tomorrows visitors Lincoln, and Woking.  He has now joined Bromley until the end of the season.

Lincoln come here still struggling to make any kind of impression on the Blue Square Prem.  They've struggled all season and early on we beat them at Sincil Bank with a single goal coming from Callum Gittings.  They've not improved since then even with a change of manager from Steve Tilson to David Holdsworth but, more worrying, is the drop in attendances they've seen since 2448 turned up to see us beat them down to almost a 33% drop on Tuesday when they drew 3-3 with Braintree in front of just 1614.

Holdsworth has shipped out a few players in recent weeks and also bought some new faces in but only one really catches the eye.  That one is striker Louis Almond, on loan until the end of the season from Blackpool.  He was on loan at Barrow last season, and the start of this, and banged in quite a few wonderful goals for them including both goals against us in the game at their place last season.

It'll be good to get back to a league game considering we haven't played one for a few weeks now and I fully expect us to be a bit too good for the Imps and sentence them to another defeat and another double for us.
