Play-off fever has hit the Wyre Forest big style with the news yesterday that we will now be taking at least ten coaches to the crucial game tomorrow at fellow play off chasers Luton Town.  It seems the cheap travel offer was too good to miss for hundreds of Harriers fans and, coupled with our superb form of recent weeks, we are expecting to take close to six hundred Red and White fans to Kenilworth Rd.

With just two games left for us and three for Luton we really do need to win this one to make sure we gain our rightful place in the last six.  Following York City's 1-0 away win at Cambridge on Tuesday we dropped, temporarily, down to fifth place while Luton remained two points behind in sixth, and out of the play-offs, place following their 3-0 win at home to Ebbsfleet Utd.

Reports say that was Lutons best performance for some time now after having gone off the boil in recent weeks.  The improvement can be laid at the feet of new manager Paul Buckle and his attacking approach to playing, an approach that is very similar to our own manager Steve Burr.

The main threat to our hopes tomorrow could be the re-found form of Stuart Fleetwood.  He was played out of position by the former manager Paul Brabin, although he did score against us in the FA Trophy defeat in February.  He's now playing in the middle of a three man attack with Andrà Gray and Robbie Willmott and it seems to be very effective.

We do have Nick Wright though :) and a lot of hard work and commitment form our strikers.  It's our suspect defence that could let us down with us not having to most mobile centre backs in football.  Just as long as we don't leak our routine early goal we should be ok.

We'll still be without Jack Byrne and Michael Briscoe for the game although they are both over their respective injuries they won't be risked just yet.  With one more proper game left on the last day of the season, Mansfield, then they will be in contention for any possible play-off games.

Luton have just Amari Morgan-Smith out with injury but no other real injury problems to speak of.  They have just recalled JJ O'Donnell and Alex Lacey back from loans at Thurrock and Eastbourne respectively but neither of those will be likely to be playing against us with Buckle going for the strongest side he possibly can.

This game is going to define our season and we'll need all three points from the game to extend our season.  We can't go hoping that Luton will throw away points at Gateshead and Fleetwood following our game but it would be nice of them if they did and let the Red and White Army celebrate in style.
