The Harriers will be paying their first visit to Stockport County tomorrow and hopefully we'll be taking our never say die brand of football with us to Edgeley Park.  This season even if we have struggled to get a result we have never stopped playing and have gone all out to get that points saving goal.

This has been shown to fine effect in our last two games when we managed to get two match winning goals post ninetieth minute at Alfreton and then on Tuesday we didn't leave it so late to grab an equalising game in a massive game against play-off rivals York City.  In both games we didn't capitalise on our superiority and gain the cushion of goals so we now need to start turning the screw against teams instead of letting them gain the upperhand before we do.

County came down to the Conference last season after just three years ago gracing the Championship.  They have dropped through the divisions in successive years and now look in grave danger of passing straight through this one too.  Their only hope seems to be reliant on Darlington and Kettering both folding and that is not an ideal position to be in.

Originally when they first came down they had big ideas on how to go about getting out of this hellhole and appointed Dietmar Hamman on big money to achieve that 'simple' aim but that idea quickly went down the swaneee and eventually Hamman was disposed of and previous manager Jim Gannon was bought back in to arrest the decline.  That move doesn't seem to be working too well either and they are still hovering too close to oblivion with just a single win since October.

There has been a bit of player movement this month with Phil Turnbull returning to the club on loan from Northampton and Danny L Rowe coming in on loan from Fleetwood.  Amazingly they now have two Danny Rowes at the club with the other one having the middle name of Martin while the borrowed Danny was lumbered with Lucas.

Yesterday Sam Sheridan was sent out on loan to Southport while Ben Chu Say will be missing with ligament damage.  Also possibly missing could be goalkeeper Matt Glennon with rumours rife in Manchester that he will be sent out on loan before the end of the month in an effort to reduce the wage bill.

Luckily we have no such problems and now seem to have a settled squad with nobody else coming in, as yet, and nobody going out including hot property Jamille Matt.  Our only worries surround our injury problems with Jack Byrne still out with a flare up of his medial ligament injury while James Vincent has been having scans on his knee in an effort to see what is wrong.  Vincent will almost certainly miss out returning to his old stamping ground.

Lee Vaughan should be about to return from injury so he could be available.

As for the outcome of this game then I think we can gain a result up there and that will mainly down to our never say die attitude.  An attitude that has got us results all season so far will surely not disappear now.
