As seems to be the tradition nowadays the Harriers were given yet another extremely tough draw in this seasons FA Trophy.  On November 12th 24th we'll be travelling up to Alfreton for this 1st round game.

We also had two tough draws in the FA Cup a few weeks ago with an away trip to Grimsby Town and then a home draw against Oldham.  Saying that even though the Grimsby tie looked to be a toughie on paper in actual fact it provided the Harriers with one of their finest away victories in years.  The Oldham game was also seen as a hard one but we held our own against the higher graded opponents even if we didn't really do enough to win the game.

We have played at Alfreton twice since they gained promotion to the Blue Square Premier two seasons ago.  In our first season we came away with a 2-0 victory with a debut goal from Anthony Malbon in the final minute and then another late one from Jamille Matt in the fifth minute of injury time that finished plucky Alfreton off.  Earlier this season we came away with a 1-1 draw and yet another goal from Malbon.

Let's hope he can do it again.
