With a last gasp throw of the dice the Harriers bought in a quick replacement for the earlier departed Exodus Geohaghon when they signed Josh Gowling from Lincoln City and at the same time free agent Emmanuel Panther.
Gowling had earlier left City by mutual consent after their fans thought that he might be heading for an un-named League side. He joined them from Gillingham in July last year and had previously spent time on loan at Hereford. His career started at West Brom in 2002 and he can number Bournemouth and Carlisle amongst his other clubs.
Panther is more well known by fans of non league football due to his time at York City where he made over 130 appearances for them in a three year period. His other clubs include Rushden, Grimsby and Exeter City.
The Scottish born midfielder is still at the right age (28) to do a job for us and he looks likely to step into the space vacated temporarily by Jack Byrne while he's out injured.
They should both be available to play up at Barrow tomorrow.
