Yesterday Steve Burr again won the BSP Manager of the Month award, this time for February, and again a Harriers striker picked up the Player of the Month award too.  Last time it was Jamille Matt and this time it's the lad who took over where he left off by rattling in the goals.  Congratulations of the highest order to both Steve and Anthony Malbon.

Let's just hope that dreaded curse doesn't happen this time because, thankfully, it didn't happen in January.

Tomorrow we welcome Ebbsfleet Utd to Aggborough and there's no reason to think that we should lose to them.  On paper it should be a routine victory against one of the clubs helping Telford to prop the table up but in reality every game we play now on in is going to be hard with clubs at both ends fighting as if their life depends on either winning titles or even managing to stay in the League.

Fleet are on a bad run lately that has seen them struggle to win any games, their last win away coming at Macclesfield in November but also bear in mind that they have only played four away games since then.  Their last defeat came at our rivals for promotion, Grimsby, on Tuesday evening when they left Blundell Park with a 3-1 defeat.

That same evening we were struggling to beat another relegation threatened side at Nuneaton.  A goal mid way through the second half from the Player of the Month was enough to warrant the points but again it shows that teams at the wrong end of the table give just as hard a game as the teams at the top.

We'll be able to welcome Keith Briggs back from injury tomorrow and also Nathaniel Jarvis too.  Briggsy is now back in training while Jarvis has been given the all clear by Cardiff City to play following his knee injury.  We have no other injuries.

Ebbsfleet have just the one player out with long-term absentee Moses Ashikodi missing the game.

I fully expect three points from this game and if we don't achieve that then we shouldn't be considering making top spot.  It's no use hoping that another 'ugly' display will see us through with a solitary goal.

We have to play to win.

UPDATE: Amari Morgan-Smith has been recalled by Macclesfield and will not be playing for us tomorrow.
