Adam Bartlett Tucked in between two important FA Cup games is this equally as important league game against Gateshead tomorrow.  Although the Harriers gained a fantastic cup win at Grimsby last Saturday afternoon we must now concentrate on gaining all three points from the Heed tomorrow and only then can we turn our attention to the visit of Oldham Athletic next week.

Those four goals at Blundell Park will get the Harriers fans drooling at the possibility of another similar scoring spree but, along with ourselves, Gateshead are the Blue Square Bet draw specialists with seven draws to our six.  It's up to us to make this a three pointer and go for the win.

Luckily we have no injuries to report from the Grimsby game apart from the long term one to Jack Byrne.  Adam Watkins, not available last weekend due to the possibility of getting cup tied, is available to play for what could be the final game of his one month loan from Luton Town.  Hopefully the club will now enter into talks with Luton and get his loan period extended.

Mid table Gateshead will definitely be without Jamie Chandler after he damaged his ankle ligaments during the Cup defeat at Alfreton last week.  They have bought in the experienced York City midfielder, Lee Bullock, on a one month emergency loan to cover for Chandler.  Missing from that game were Ben Clark (virus) and Liam Hatch (hamstring) but Gateshead are expecting both players to be fit to play at Aggborough tomorrow.

There are two former Harriers at The International Stadium this season.  Adam Bartlett (right) was a well liked keeper for us three years ago but financial constraints meant that we couldn't keep hold of him and he joined Hereford Utd.  Adam has been an ever present for Gateshead this season and it'll be good to welcome him back to Aggborough.

The other former Harrier is Glenn Wilson and he's not doing so well since his move up North from Crawley Town at the start of the season.  He's only made three starts for the club and the Gateshead manager Ian Bogie, another former Harrier himself, has put out notice that the defender is available for loan.

So the plan is this: We know we can score goals because we did that last Saturday.  We now have to do the same tomorrow against Gateshead and stop both of us continuing to be the draw specialists in this league.  Then, and only then, can we think about doing the same to Oldham.
