Mid table Stockport County are the Harriers next opponents tomorrow afternoon (ko is 3.30pm just in case you hadn't noticed) and the boys in Red will really want to win this one because all three points at Edgeley Park could see us surging up the table with the unlikely possibility of reaching eleventh place.  The more likely placing would be around fourteenth.

During the second period of our win at home to Hyde on Tuesday we lost the services of our Rock, Josh Gowling, to what was thought to be a fracture to his shin but, thankfully, appears to be just bad bruising.  Josh will be assessed in the run up to this game but it's looking doubtful if he'll be risked.  James Vincent also took a knock the other night but he should be ok to play against his old club.

Ricky Shakes will still be missing due to his involvement in Guyanas' World Cup games.

Our hosts played their midweek game against Wrexham on Wednesday evening in front of the cameras and lost 3-2 with Wrexhams first goal gifted to them by an own goal and then two penalties in either half scored by Neil Ashton.  He was then sent off for a second yellow card after celebrating in front of his own fans.  The world's gone mad!

By all accounts Stockport played well even though they were on the losing side and we're going to have to be strong to get a result there.  It can be done though as shown by our win at Cambridge a few weeks ago but, then again, not by our disappointing draw at Ebbsfleet last Saturday.

Stockport will be without Danny O'Donnell but Joe Connor should be fit to play once more.

It'll be good if we can keep our unbeaten run of nine games going into double figures but it's not going to be easy especially if Gowling fails to make the game.  Our best hope will be for Ryan Rowe to keep ups his fabulous scoring run and grab a brace at least.  Cross fingers and we could have climbed a bit further up the table by tea time Saturday.
