Our hosts returned to the Conference this season after getting relegated at the end of the 2008 -2009 season. They had spent seventeen years prior to that in the Conference or its equivilants.
Now in their first season back they seem to holding their own well enough (they're doing better than us at the moment) and sit in mid table even though their results aren't too consistent. Two weeks ago they beat the League leaders Newport County on Welsh soil but on the Saturday just gone they lost at Gateshead after taking an early lead through Jack Parkinson.
Saying that we aren't too consistent either and can only seem to string a run of defeats or draws together but not wins. With only three wins so far compared to Wokings seven then it's high time we started to do something about it.
We should have a full squad available to us following the FA Cup exit with both Nathan Blissett (head) and Keith Briggs (abscess) both training today. As usual with Southern clubs Woking seem reticent to mention team news so we'll presume that everyone is fit at Kingfield.
Three points tomorrow please.
