We're top of the form table for home results (fourth overall) while Wrexham are sitting at the top of the away form table having won their last three away games at Stockport, Southport and Braintree. With a big crowd in attendance we're set up for a cracker of a game and hopefully that all important three points winging our way.
Our only injury doubt is with Danny Pilkington. The wideman has been a revelation in recent games but he picked up a knock to his thigh at Alfreton last Saturday and will be a doubt unless he responds well to treatment.
Jamille Matt started that game and lasted for most of the match. Steve Burr said yesterday that he may not necessarily start with our talisman this time but bring him on later in the game. To be honest it's a no brainer and Matt must start against a team as powerful as Wrexham rather than send the inexperienced Nathan Blissett into the fray against men.
We will have another player missing tomorrow now that Richard Penikets loan with us has ended. He's now returned to Fulham hopefully better for his experience with us.
Wrexham appear to be mainly injury free and the only player certain to be missing is the former Harrier, and fans hero, Mark Creighton. He suffered a season ending cruciate ligament injury to his right knee after falling awkwardly at Ebbsfleet at the beginning of the season.
The 'Beast' is now on the road to recovery but still has a long way to go before he makes his comeback. Meanwhile he's putting all his efforts into a tattoo shop venture in Wrexham.
Another well known pair of ex Harriers play for Wrexham too. Martin Riley signed for them from Mansfield last season and was hoping to build up the partnership with Creighton that he had with him at Aggborough.
Dean Keates (above right) is the other former Harrier with the Welsh side. He was with us during Jan Molbys second stint at Aggborough from February 2004 until July 2005 when he signed for Lincoln City. He had further stints at Walsall, again, and then Peterborough and Wycombe before joining Wrexham in May 2010.
So how will this game end tomorrow? A win for us? A win for Wrexham or will a draw be the fairest way of settling it? Whatever the result is it should be a good game for fans and neutrals alike.
Sod that. We'll win!!!!
