We pulled a goal back through Jack Byrne during the first half of that first game and in the delayed replay we finally saw them off with a 2-1 win in extra time with goals from Amari-Morgan Smith and Marvin Johnson.
Their performance at Aggborough that evening was very much an eye opener to some fans that had expected Bradford to struggle on a better pitch and in a proper stadium. They gained a lot of fans that night and this time round we know that we'll have to be truly on our mettle if we hope to progress any further in this competition.
Many fans are thinking that Steve Burr might be sending a weakened side to this game considering that it is just a week away until a, rightfully, more important game next Saturday in the FA Cup at home to Newport County. Knowing the manager he will want to go with his strongest side possible but his hand could be forced by also wanting to play a strong team next week and to that end he could be tempted to drop both Kyle Storer and Lee Fowler due to them both being on four yellow cards each. Replacements are ready made with Danny Jackman replacing Storer for Mickey Demetriou's return to the left back position while either Jack Byrne and Callum Gittings could replace Fowler.
The more drastic option would be to play the squad members that only feature on the fringes. Players such as Jamie Grimes, Jamie Tolley and Nathan Blissett but possibly not Dior Angus after he refused to play in a Trophy game for Worcester City while on loan to them and was sent back with a flea in his ear.
Our opponents have dropped down the league table in recent weeks following out previous meetings. Only two wins out of seven, including three consecutive defeats, wasn't the kind of form they were expecting but last Saturday they managed a draw at home to Boston.
They've lost midfielder Simon Lenighan this week after his loan spell from Leeds Utd ended but they are hoping that Leeds will agree to loaning him back to them by tomorrow. Adam Quinn has been loaned out to Worksop Town until the New Year but they have no injuries to worry about.
I'm not feeling too confident about this game and think a mixture of Bradford wanting their own back, and the Harriers with one eye on the more lucrative FA Cup, could see us making an exit at an early stage tomorrow. I sincerely hope not but would it be such a bad thing if we did?
